What to expect
Where the Arc takes the winter coast path, this takes the interior in September: a hundred miles across the county and back between its two shores. Less exposure, more navigation, and two nights if you are anywhere near the cutoff. The inland routes here — Lanhydrock, Cardinham, Golitha — are the right training ground.
